About Me

My Pilates journey started in 2012 soon after I arrived to Poland as an expat in Procter & Gamble, large international corporation.  What at the beginning was just great help to de-stress after a long work, later Pilates became part of me, my greatest area of interest, my hobby and my obsession at the same time.

In 2015 I completed Diamond Pilates Academia teacher certification programs for MAT, Chair, and Reformer with Ilona Wlodarczyk, PMA CPT.

In 2020, I graduated the comprehensive Lineage Pilates Education program with Jacqueline Martin, 2nd generation graduate of “The Work” ™ with Jay Grimes/Vintage Pilates, LA .

In the beginning of 2021 I completed the entire series of 60 hours of study in workshops in Vintage Pilates ‘Weekends with Jay” program, specially designed for a group of 20 certified pilates teachers world-wide to broaden their knowledge and preserve the original work as Joseph Pilates taught it, under the guidance of Jay Grimes, 1st generation teacher.

In March 2021, I virtually completed both Spring and Winter TCH – ”Teacher Club House” program with Sandy Shimoda , Vintage Pilates where we discovered what we didn’t know about Joe’s method and how we can apply to our bodies.

In June 2022, I completed ‘‘The Process ” with Sandy Shimoda, Vintage Pilates Los Angeles studio where we will build the process of communicating Joe’s method through our teaching.

In Oct 2022, I hosted Classical Pilates Conference in Warsaw on Oct 15-16 in Ewa Park Spa&Life. Our conference presenters were fabulous Gloria Gasperi from Italy, Ken Krech from USA, Joel Crosby from USA and Murat Berkin from Turkey. We had participants from 12 different nations during 2 days of workshops and privates. Our sponsors were Legacy Pilates Apparatus, Contrology by Balanced Body and The Pilates Link.

In Nov 2022, I attended  3-day ‘’Mini Camp ‘’  with Jay Grimes and Sandy Shimoda in Vintage Pilates studio in LA.

As of January 2023, Maja started Vintage Pilates Internship with Jay Grimes and Sandy Shimoda, designed specifically and individually for six selected teachers worldwide in a program called the Method.
